For anyone interested in getting a better understanding of the showcaller role and how producers are integral to our ability to call a show in giving us detail and more detail! The workshop is divided into 2 parts.
Morning is a full explanation with discussion and Q&A on the challenges which are repetitive onsite and how they could be improved through some simple client interactions.Transferable skills from theatre to corporate of which there are many Full explanation of all the departments. What they expect from the showcaller and we from them. Terminology. Understanding screen sets ups and Presets. What you need to build a showbook either digitally or on paper
Afternoon session. Practical exercise on putting together a showbook from a small script, running order and PPT. This gives you a much better understanding of what a showcaller has to take on board when building their narrative in a showbook.
