For a number of years now SMA has supported members who wish to work on a job sharing basis, and SMA remains committed to supporting job shares backstage in any way that we can.
Responding to requests from members SMA has agreed to including job share information in Freelist for a trial period. We and our partners are now making the necessary technical changes to Blueform and Freelist (making up the list is a mostly automated process, so changes need to be made to the underlying coding) We will include a Job sharers section in the list from the March list. We are notifying members now so that as many as possible of our Freelist users are aware of this new opportunity Blueform will include this section for submissions for the March list from February 10th (after February Freelist)
The March list is out shortly including over 35 interested or involved in job sharing
Freelist is a very important and unique service for SMA members and so we don’t make changes to the Freelist often. We be testing that the changes work properly and wish to be sure that they are what members want before this change is made permanent.
